A silver necklace and bracelet by the Danish jeweller and silversmith Niels Erik From (1908-1982).
Initially his work was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement but by the 1960’s he had developed a modernist style, as seen in these pieces based on the shape of calla lilies.
The necklace with twenty three silver links and the bracelet eleven silver links, each curved to reflect a calla lily and each inset with a silver ball. The base of each lily oxidised, to create a contrast with the brightness of the silver.
