A French Art Deco Mantel Clock and matching garnitures by Enrique Molins Balleste (1893-1958).
Each piece set on black marble, with cream veined marble above. The garnitures, in hexagonal shaped marble to compliment the hexagonal marble clock. The clock with a gold bezel, gold hands and a circular gold design to mark the minutes. A stylised eagle sits on cream marble along side the clock. The eagle signed ‘Balleste’ on the underside of tail.
Enrique Molins Balleste was born in Spain and later moved to Paris, where he became a respected Art Deco Sculptor.
This piece in very good condition and recently serviced.
