‘Gaylayde’ furniture by B.Cohen & Sons was first exhibited in 1926 at the London Furniture Exhibition and their bedroom, dining and living room furniture was sold in upmarket department stores in the UK.
Attractive marquetry detailing in exotic woods around the top and sides of the front, with attractive ivorine handles and door escutcheons. The base in macassar.
