An Art Deco Walnut ‘Elevette’ Drinks Cabinet, produced for Asprey London. British, c.1930
A very stylish piece of Art Deco furniture. A clever mechanism opens the top and lifts up a drink compartment, for six glasses and two bottles. It could sit next to an armchair ready for that evening tipple and also be used as a side table. The cabinet has been waxed and polished internally and externally and the mechanism has been serviced so in excellent working order. The chrome handles to the top and sides are great quality. This Asprey cabinet is for the person who wants something a bit special! A great talking point.
