A 1920’s Gentleman’s wardrobe by Compactom.
Compactom specialised in designing gentlemen’s wardrobes and produced various design’s depending on the gentleman’s requirements. This top of the range one in mahogany, was designed for someone of the middle to upper class.
There are therefore many compartments, shelves and rails, all retaining their original labels, including;
-2 chrome rails for ties
-a chrome hanging rail for jackets, coats, etc.

-to the base a section for sportswear
-a further compartment to the base for sundries
– plus various hanging hooks
Our restorer has over 40 years of furniture restoration experience including 15 years living at Windsor Castle whilst working for the Royal household, so comes highly recommended! This wardrobe is in good condition, with some wear in places to the internal section commensurate with age.
