A pair of mid century modern lamps by Veb Narva Leuchtenbau , Lengefeld.
Circular pedestals and bases in chrome and with their original and rare fabric shades. This pair of lamps have been been rewired and PAT tested. The lamps in very good condition for their age, with no tears to the fabric and the chrome in very good order.

In 1946 under the German Democratic Republic (GDR) five companies combined (including Osram) to form Veb Narva.
Narva stands for Nitrogen the Ar for Argon and the Va for Vacuum.
In 1963 some 1.5 million lamps were sold in a 120 models. Eighty percent were exported.
