A superb quality and designed Art Deco stepped bookcase. Made from solid makore wood and banded in macassar. The tallest section with four shelves, three of which adjustable and a cupboard beneath. The middle section with four shelves and three of which adjustable. Each shelf held in place with their original wooden rounded pegs. The last section, with a cupboard. Each cupboard with a macassar banded rectangular handle and the whole bookcase banded in macassar, with further macassar used to create stepped detailing to both doors and sides.
Our restorer has over 40 years of furniture restoration experience including 15 years living at Windsor Castle whilst working for the Royal household, so comes highly recommended! This item in showroom condition.
