A Fine Art Deco dining table and six chairs designed by Ray Hille for Hille of London.

The extending dining table with a self opening/closing folding leaf stored neatly within the table. The two carvers and four chairs re-upholstered in a dark grey faux suede, perfect for the modern or period interior.

This design is featured in a book published by the V&A, ‘Hille – 75 years of British Furniture’ page 76.

Ray Hille began designing furniture as early as 1922. In 1932 her father, Salamon Hille retired from the business and Ray Hille took over the management of S. Hille & Co. continuing to take the business forward, with great quality and well designed furniture.

This dining table and six chairs in very good condition.
